I have a client who will apply for an intracompany transferee visa. He currently works for a subsidiary of a major Stock Exchange Group in Asia; the Group has Foreign Rep Offices in NY for several subsidiaries already. Now, they want to set up another Foreign Rep office in NY for this particular subsidiary. I'm working w/ a local attorney who often forms business entities in NY but he doesn't think Foreign Rep office is possible in NY if there is a physical office in NY w/ some activities even if there's no sales. Only branch office is possible? Looking forward to any insight.
