ProVisors® (founded as Professionals Network Group, Inc. or PNG) is a community of senior level professionals who serve their clients as trusted advisors and share the highest standards of integrity, performance and accountability. Each member belongs to a ProVisors group that meets monthly to build valuable relationships, share information, exchange business opportunities, refine their marketing skills and collaborate for the benefit of their clients and one another. Members represent different disciplines and specialties from such fields as law, accounting, banking and finance, insurance and consulting.
ProVisors is a relationship-based community, not a leads-based networking organization. Our members are highly committed to building valuable relationships with one another by participating in their regular monthly meetings and assigned troikas, guesting at other group meetings, collaborating with one another, being responsive to referrals/introductions by fellow members, sharing information, recruiting new members and respecting one another's privacy.
Membership is limited to one person per firm per ProVisors group. One exception is that two persons may attend from the Host firm, although only one has full membership privileges. Memberships are individual, non-transferable and non-refundable. There are no corporate rates and no shared memberships. If a member is unable to attend their monthly group meeting, they may send another senior-level trusted advisor from the member's firm in their place.
Since ProVisors membership is by "invitation only", we ask that members foster the continued success of ProVisors by recruiting qualified new members.
How do I become a member?
1. ProVisors requires all prospective members to complete a short Prospective Member Questionnaire BEFORE attending a group meeting. This is NOT an application for or acceptance of membership. It is the first step for a prospective member to visit a ProVisors group to determine if ProVisors membership will be valuable for you and your clients.
2. ProVisors staff will try to find a group for you to attend, based on which groups are looking for a new member in your profession / specialty in your preferred geographical area.
3. Once a potential group is identified, you will be sent an email invitation to the meeting. Group meetings are from 7:30am to 9:00am. Each group meets once a month on the same day each month at a designated location. Members and guests arrive by 7:15am to network.
4. When you attend a group meeting, you will be put into a troika (a follow-up meeting - usually for breakfast or lunch - with 2 or 3 other members during the month following the meeting) with an Executive Committee (EC) member. The EC member will recommend to the Group Leader whether or not you should be extended an application to join the group. Some groups ask prospects to attend a meeting a second time before making a decision. If an application is not extended, ProVisors staff will try to find another group for you to attend.
5. Prospective members may guest up to three (3) times at ProVisors group meetings over a two (2) month period prior to making a decision to join. ProVisors membership will be backdated to your first meeting as a guest, even if the attendance is at a group not joined. If you attend an affinity group meeting, that attendance counts as part of your guesting opportunities.
6. If you are extended an invitation to join, you will be sent a link to complete an application online. Annual membership dues are $1200. Dues are payable in FULL when completing the Membership Application to join ProVisors.
As a prospective member of ProVisors, we want to ensure that you have a clear understanding of the benefits you will derive from ProVisors membership and that you understand the level of commitment required in order to realize these benefits. When responding to the questions below, we do not expect you to mention specific client/prospect/referral sources by name in your answers.
Upon completion of this questionnaire we will notify you via email that we have received your information. The questionnaire will assist us to find the most appropriate group for you to attend as a guest based on your profession/specialty and geographical preferences. |
