My philosophy is to provide my clients with the best possible service available to them. I pride myself on being involved in each client's entire estate plan and working with their other advisors as a team; I understand that my estate planning work may not be properly implemented without the protection the client�s other advisors can provide. I look at the client�s entire estate planning situation, which may include matters such as how they will be inheriting assets from their parents; structured properly, a client can receive an inheritance in a way that will protect the assets from the client�s creditors, spouses and even future estate taxes.

My Firm�s services includes the drafting of trusts, wills, health care powers, general powers of attorney, transferring real estate (and other assets) into the trust and probate matters. We have a proprietary program for meeting with our clients on an annual basis to see what changes have occurred in their lives and how they should change their estate plans. For instance, they may want to change the guardians for their minor children or the trustees of trusts they have established. We are also involved in advanced estate tax planning, including setting up trusts to maximize the client�s use of their estate tax exemption, Heritage Trusts, Qualified Personal Residence Trusts, Qualified Domestic Trusts, Charitable Trusts and other sophisticated tax techniques.
I have a sub-specialty in trust administration, which involves post-death estate tax planning, allocating assets among multiple trusts, making sure trust accountings are prepared, required notices are given to beneficiaries and proper distribution and allocation of assets are made. We work closely with the accountant and other advisors in these matters. We do not prepare estate tax returns; we do, however, work with the accountant on tax planning (such as disclaimers and generation-skipping tax planning) and we review drafts of the estate tax return.
Having written chapters on corporate buy-sell agreements and partnership agreements in Business Buy-Out Agreements (published by the California Continuing Education of the Bar), I am able to help my clients with drafting agreements for the continued operation of their businesses in the event of a co-owner�s death.

My client profile includes families in all stages of their lives and wealth. I represent young couples who want to protect their spouses and children in the event of a premature death, as well as representing retirees, business owners, entertainers, and athletes. I feel just as comfortable working with smaller clients as I do with internationally known clients, and I give them all the same quality service.
