Steve Dem is a senior attorney specializing in debt collection who prides himself in being in the “money morality business - returning money to its rightful owner™.” Steve has extensive experience in collections, including collections for contracts, foreclosures, sales of goods & services, loans, mechanics liens, and unpaid judgments.
In his early years as an attorney, Steve served as senior counsel with the Department of Corporations, State of California as a corporate securities attorney handling public and private financing matters. Steve also did criminal enforcement work for the Department of Corporations. He worked as an associate General Counsel to The Colwell Mortgage Trust (NYSE) specializing in major real estate matters. This experience allows Steve to bring broad and deep expertise in understanding business transactions to his work in debt collection and effectively "returning money to its rightful owner."
