i litigate and provide advice in connection with a wide range of issues that confront employers. I defend against employment discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, wrongful termination, workers' compensation retaliation and other employee claims in state and federal courts, filed in administrative forums or under arbitration agreements. I also provides litigation, advice and negotiations relating to trade secret misappropriation, protection of confidential information, and restrictive covenants entered into with former employees.
i advise employers regarding the many federal and state employment law issues they face, including the drafting of clear and effective personnel policies and employee handbooks; employee terminations and disciplinary actions; layoffs and reorganizations; drug testing and employee privacy issues; wage and hour issues; leaves of absence and other employee benefits issues; and, employment agreements and employee separation agreements involving executives, managers, and professionals. i also represent management in collective bargaining, grievance/arbitration, and other traditional labor law matters involving unions.
