Our practice has entailed the analysis of insurance laws of almost every state. We also have tremendous experience dealing with insurance insolvencies in the United States and elsewhere. Our representations have involved almost all types of commercial insurance coverage relating to toxic tort losses, product liability claims, business torts and property loss.

In addition to doing traditional business litigation, a large part of my work is assisting clients with their insurance-related problems. I have played an instrumental role in structuring settlement and joint defense agreements that maximize coverage for my clients and have negotiated coverage-in-place agreements incorporating a number of innovative allocation methodologies and facilitating the recovery of hundreds of millions of dollars of insurance proceeds. I also frequently assist clients in analyzing and negotiating their insurance coverage along with complex indemnification and insurance arrangements to ensure they are protected from unexpected loss. I frequently intervene on my clients' behalf to ensure they receive the full benefits of their insurance policies.

My clients range from high net worth individuals to Fortune 500 companies. I have worked with not-for-profit companies who have been sued and wrongfully denied coverage as well as small companies trying to determine the scope of their insurance coverage.
