The San Francisco Foundation is one of the oldest community foundations in the country. We are a bridge between non-profit and resources, neighborhood and government, leadership and those in need. We connect donors to causes they care about and strengthen the local community through strategic investment.
We provide donor-advised funds for families needing a philanthropic vehicle. We also manage legacy gifts made by donors who wish to have a permanent endowment. We provide strategic consulting to private foundations, to assist families in achieving greater impact with their philanthropy.
Our average donor has net worth of $5 million and gives $50,000 annually. We are happy to help any donor who gives at least $10,000 annually.
