Caren R. Nielsen and I focus our practice on what might be described as the "core elder law" areas here in California. Those are, in general terms: estate planning, conservatorships, Medi-Cal planning, trust administration and litigation, probate administration and litigation, and mental health issues. It is all we do, all we have ever done, and indeed all we have wanted to do in the practice of law. Our goal is to help elders and their families negotiate the legal difficulties associated with aging, and, by proper planning, turn uncertain futures into sunny prospects.

John E. Rogers, Jr. is a 1998 graduate of Loyola Law School. Prior to being admitted to the bar, Mr. Rogers was the Probate Law Columnist for the Los Angeles Daily Journal newspaper, a position he held for twelve years. Working together with Elder Law Specialist Caren R. Nielsen, he focuses his practice on conservatorship administration and litigation, trust and probate administration and litigation, Medi-Cal planning, estate planning, guardianships and Mental Health Proceedings.
