Tony Salzman has immersed himself in applying and understanding tax laws since 1973. He is a nationally renowned tax professional who has written and/or taught hundreds of classes to thousands of Certified Public Accountants, tax attorneys, Internal Revenue Agents and other tax professionals since 1976.
Tony worked for 6 ½ years as an Internal Revenue Agent (and IRS instructor) in Chicago and Los Angeles.
He worked for 6 ½ years at Laventhol & Horwath, CPAs in Los Angeles where he rose to the level of tax manager. Laventhol & Horwath, at the time, was the 9th largest CPA firm in America and had the fifth largest tax department in Southern California. One half of the tax department reported directly to him.
Since 1987, he has practiced accounting in Thousand Oaks, California.
Tony first began teaching while working for the Internal Revenue Service in Chicago. In 1983, he began teaching with and for the California Society of CPAs. He has designed and/or taught many courses and conferences for the California CPA Education Foundation and other CPE providers throughout the country. He has also spoken at dozens of conferences (and chaired several). Tony has been on the MBA faculty at California Lutheran University and has lectured at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.
Tony is married and has two children. He has lived with his family in Thousand Oaks, California since 1979.
