Alexander Elias Architecture, Inc. (AEA) was founded by Alexander Elias in 2002 as Elias Design and incorporated as AEA in October of 2003. Since its founding, AEA has been engaged in a broad range of commercial, residential and institutional projects. These have included tenant improvements, adaptive reuse, facility planning, retail prototypes, religious buildings and a hotel. AEA also has extensive experience in single-family residential work.

Mr. Elias began his architectural education at Cornell University. He later attended the Rhode Island School of Design, where Mr. Elias was selected to participate in the school's European Honors Program in Rome, Italy. He received the degrees of Bachelor of the Arts and Bachelor of Architecture from RISD in 1994. Mr. Elias also attended UCLA's Critical Studies in Architecture Program, receiving the degree of Master of the Arts in Architecture in 2006.

Prior to starting his own practice in 2002, Mr. Elias worked for firms in New York, New Jersey and California. While working for the Office of Thierry Despont in New York, Mr. Elias was the project designer for the Polo flagship store in London. At Corgan Associates, he was the job captain for American Airline's New York corporate offices and the project architect for two phases of British Airway's 150 million dollar renovation and expansion of their terminal facilities at Kennedy International Airport.

After moving to Los Angeles in 1999, Mr. Elias worked for the award-winning firm of Abramson Teiger Architects in Culver City. Among the many projects he completed as project architect at Abramson Teiger, were Knoll Inc.'s 15,000 square foot show room in Santa Monica and the 26,000 square foot expansion and renovation of the Yeshiva Girls' High School in Los Angeles.

Alexander Elias Architecture, Inc. is a full-service architectural firm. We act in an advisory and consulting role by providing pre-design services such as site selection, feasibility studies and programming. Predesign services provide an informed basis for traditional design and construction documentation services which are augmented by due diligence in Code research and analysis. We deliver well-documented projects to the construction marketplace through a detailed bid process, and we are advocates for our Client's interests throughout the construction of their projects.
