Matt Mahoney is a business litigation partner with the law firm of Seltzer Caplan McMahon Vitek. He is a trial attorney who caters to clients with cases requiring the resources of a big firm, but the care and cost-consciousness associated with a small firm practice. Mr. Mahoney's practice focuses on real property litigation, such as lease disputes, purchase and sale litigation, and property right challenges. I am a business litigation attorney practicing in San Diego. I have represented clients in a number of different practice areas, including lender liability matters, commercial lease disputes, and general contract litigation. I have used my litigation experiences to represent and consult with numerous start-up companies and emerging businesses to help them navigate their way through entity formation, third-party contract negotiations, and employmnent issues. A significant portion of my practice has also been dedicated to legal malpractice defense.
I provide business litigation services to individuals and corporations in a wide variety of litigation matters ranging from commercial lease disputes to lender liability issues.
Although my client base is quite diverse, the majority of my litigation clients are mid to large sized corporations typically conducting business in Southern California, including San Diego, Orange and Los Angeles Counties. My consulting clients tend to be smaller start-up entities looking for sound legal advice at reasonable rates.
