As a philanthropic services professional, I provide full-scope services to support private foundations and donor-advised funds. I help clients identify their goals around philanthropy and select the appropriate charitable giving vehicle, facilitate conversations to establish mission statements and grantmaking guidelines, and coordinate strategic planning processes to ensure impactful giving. I provide turnkey administrative services – serving as the foundation’s central office, keeping records, preparing for Board meetings, processing grants and ensuring regulatory compliance. And I collaborate with the clients' trusted advisors (attorneys, CPAs,investment managers - internal or external). Essentially, I shoulder all of the administrative burdens of having a foundation or donor-advised fund so clients can simply experience the joy of giving.
Typical clients include very high net worth individuals and families who want support with their philanthropy, private and/or family foundations seeking to outsource their administration, and clients with donor-advised funds who seek a higher level of supportive services than they would receive at a community foundation.
