John Homan has more than thirty years experience in business acquisitions, law and finance and has personally started or owned seventeen businesses in a variety of industries. As an attorney, specializing in business law and finance and formerly controller of a $1.0 billion company, he has the experience and expertise to handle transactions middle market transactions. Prior to joining Thrive Enterprises, Inc., he was the COO of a Cardiff Capital, a boutique VC firm as well as founder and CEO of TrueVision International, a company that he took public on the NASDAQ exchange. He have been exclusively servicing the Southern California business community for nearly a decade. "Build A Business, Not A Job". We help business owner's structure their business for passive ownership or sale. We believe that businesses fall into one of three levels. Level 1, a start-up; Level 2, a business that works only if the owners are in the middle of everything. We focus on helping owners build a Level 3 business. We help the owner identify the limiting factors holding the business back from being a systems reliant business with a winning management team in place. Then, at that level, the owner has the option of owning the business passively, or perhaps work in that part of the business that most interests the owner. And, if the owner wishes to sell the business, it now can command far more than the typical 2.5 to 3 times earnings that a Level 2 business is worth. That is because the business has value separate and apart from the owner.
