I have enjoyed representing businesses in litigating and resolving complex and simply troublesome business and real estate disputes for 32 years. The principal purpose of Nevers, Palazzo, Maddux & Packard is to counsel with business owners as a primary resource to help them achieve their professional and personal objectives. Our corporate transactional partners do this on a daily basis. However, ordinary and extraordinary issues will confront all businesses, requiring advice or courtroom representation from skilled and experienced litigation attorneys. Partnership and corporate shareholder disputes, conduct imperiling trade secrets, customers' failure to pay or to perform, and the myriad issues in dealing with employees, managers and government agencies can threaten productivity and progress in every business. I have tried civil lawsuits and resolved many more in state and federal courts and courts of appeal throughout California. We have obtained emergency injunctions and other provisional relief, and have successfully defended such motions when a loss in the first injunction hearing would have ended the life of a new business. Each new challenge presented by a client is different from the last, requiring the application of experience and common sense, as well as legal knowledge, to select with the client the proper course to the best solution. The NPMP firm was formed in 1992. We have 12 attorneys from major law schools and firms, placing us among the largest and most experienced firms in the Conejo and San Fernando Valleys.
