As President and Principal Consultant of Human Resources GPS, Inc., I serve as a strategic human resources advisor to small business leaders, helping them build their HR infrastructures, and develop and navigate their employment relationships, especially when they collide with the myriad of federal & state employment laws. I spent my first 9 years in operations management, and then a subsequent 19 as a senior-level HR leader -- all in start-up or small, rapid-growth companies with 1 - 150 employees. This combined experience has given me a first-hand understanding of the small business leader's challenges, and how to use HR to successfully support their business goals.
