Our clients have interests in all areas of technology and science. They also include entities that have needs relating to trade secrets, trademarks or copyrights. In addition they may be entities that are involved in business methods embodied in software, for example. They are both public and private, for profit and non-profit. They range in size from individuals to Fortune 500 companies, and are located in most countries throughout the world. The clients serviced by our San Diego office are typically small to mid range companies, although we represent some large local companies as well. Generally, these clients either have intellectual property they are concerned about protecting or enforcing, or are involved in business ventures with others who have or are developing intellectual property that is part of the venture. Our clients also include VCs who are investigating companies for possible investment as well as entities such as educational institutions that have technology they are seeking to commercialize.
