As a founding member of Zimmerman, Rosenfeld, Gersh & Leeds, LLP in Beverly Hills for more than 30 years, Jeffrey F. Gersh moved his litigation and transactional practice in the spring of 2005, to start The Gersh Law Firm, Inc. in Encino, CA, before founding GERSH | DERBY, Attorneys at Law with Paul B. Derby. Mr. Derby, formerly a partner at the litigation boutique Hennigan Dorman LLP in downtown Los Angeles, met Mr. Gersh while successfully defending their respective clients in a billion-dollar trade secret misappropriation and fraud lawsuit. GERSH | DERBY was created with one primary goal – to achieve the best possible results for our clients, whether by negotiating a favorable settlement or trial, or structuring a transaction to meet our client's needs. The attorneys at GERSH | DERBY care deeply about their clients and zealously represent their interests which can often make the crucial difference in the results achieved.
|
| |
GERSH | DERBY is proud to represent clients in federal and state litigation, arbitrations, and mediations in a wide variety of matters, including: apparel and garment industry law; appraisal and valuation; bankruptcy and related matters; commercial litigation and collection matters; complex business litigation; intellectual property matters including copyright, trademarks, and trade dress matters; trade secrets; emerging technologies; employment law for both the employer and employee; entertainment matters; professional negligence; real estate; and securities.
