We diligently pursue all options for the most competitive medical, dental, life, disability and vision plans available to employers. We leverage technology to implement the most efficient ways of communicating, enrolling and administering the selected benefit plans.
Marrs Maddocks + Associates is a full service insurance agency that was established in 1991. Our agency is divided into three departments- Property & Casualty, Employee Benefits and Personal Lines. Our staff members in each department are specialists in their field and are licensed and trained specifically for the insurance products that they sell. We represent all of the major insurance carriers. We are committed to prompt and thorough service to our customers to provide them with accurate insurance coverage and to support them throughout the year with the administration of their insurance programs.
In the employee benefits department, we help businesses from 2-1000 employees implement cost effective and coverage appropriate employee benefit plans. Medical, dental, vision, life, disability and long term care insurance are the core benefit plans that we set up and maintain for our clients. We act as consultants from both a benefit design and legislative compliance standpoint. Continuous education and research allows us to be well versed in the newest plan options and current legislative requirements. Our focus on employee communication once the benefits plans have been selected solidifies the value of the services that we provide. We create and maintain a comprehensive benefits website for each of our clients that facilitates thorough communication of the plan details and instructions for form completion and deadlines to the employees. We also assist in the set up of Section 125 FSA plans and COBRA administration.
We currently serve 225 businesses ranging from 2 to over 500 employees as their employee benefits agent. We also have a separate client base for individual medical insurance/Medicare and personal life, disability and long term care insurance.
The nature of our work does not require a focus in certain industries, which creates a very wide range of businesses that we represent. Our current customer base is comprised of the following industries: Biotech, Construction, Financial Services, Medical Offices, Private Schools and Colleges, Attorney Firms, Manufacturing, Wholesale and Retail business.
Our main office is in Carlsbad. We have a satellite office in Mission Valley that is a division of the Property & Casualty department.
